As the trophy description only states side quests, it is safe to assume that is all you need. Challenges and escorts may also count towards this trophy, but we won't know until somebody unlocks the trophy. Here is a complete list of all the side quests so you can check which ones you are missing. You will be rewarded with lots of survivor points for completing them though, and most of the time you will get blueprints as well. None of the side quests are difficult though and most are of the "Go to point A, find something, go to point B" variety. This will be the bulk of the Platinum just because there are lots of side quests that you need to complete. Most of the side quests don't take long to complete, but a few of them are fairly lengthy. Side quests are marked on the map with a "!" symbol.
